FAMILIARS FOR LETHE, THE GOD OF SLEEP

So, Lettie has two familiars. The lesser (lesser than him) gods of dreams and nightmares. He uses them as weapons against foes. The god of dreams makes sweet dream-like illusions while the god of nightmares usually becomes something that his opponent fears. They either lull the foe into a false sense of security for a quick escape or scare the piss out of someone. Lettie cares for the two familiars like little sisters but they are, in fact, his children.

Playing with Lettie is kinda tough for anyone else. He pretty much ignores most humans for the ability to rest leaving his familiars to take on his duties in the south district or they bitch him out until he does the thing. When he's well-rested he's very generous and happy, but when he's not, he teeters on the brink of almost psycho behavior. Talking to himself, hearing voices, fits of rage and depression. He verbally abuses the girls but once he's regained his senses, he's quick to apologize to them. Like a true abusive father does.

Dream, as I'll call her until you figure out a name for her, is the happy one and the older sister. She's optimistic to fault, affectionate and eager to do any task set before her. She's not at all practical and most of what she talks about in a conversation is nonsensical fantasy. She makes plans to do things throughout the day but will always get sidetracked by something. She is the more soothing god, choosing to cheer people on and make them feel good about themselves. She is scared of the dark and of her sister.

Nightmare, is the rock although, the younger sister. She accomplishes most things in her own time while putting down any fantasies Dream might have with a bit of realism. She delights in scaring her sister and humans alike. She is particularly scary looking to humans because of her large eyes and normally blank expression. She is actually afraid of daylight and spends most of her time beneath their small shrine, only coming out at night.
