fendi fendi prada Fawcett wandered into the West end of the things and eventually found himself at a nice little pawnshop. If anything, it was rather quaint. Fawcett also seemed to have a few things on him he could probably pawn off for a good chunk of money. Like his 24k gold ring with diamond accents around the band and a crowning flawless blue sapphire on it. Fawcett walked in and looked around walking up to a desk as he took off the band waiting for someone to come up to him. HEATH AMBROISÉ

COLD AS ICE that's how I treated you He heard the front door open and close from the backroom. “Just a second.” The blonde called out, crouching as he set down a heavy box before pulling out some duct tape to close it. The ling Ring had received a rather large order the day before and Heath taken it upon himself to finish it. Something had come up, as usual, and so Heath found himself the only one able to take care of it. He pulled a large marker out of his back pocket, writing a quick note on the side of the box before ripping off some more tape and slapping it on there. Thankfully he wouldn’t be transporting the goods today. A client would be picking them up themselves. This meant of course that once they arrived, he could close up shop and go home for the day. Heath tugged at his t-shirt, using the bottom to wipe a bit of sweat that had accumulated in his forehead. He needed to bring in a fan next time he was doing stock orders. The blonde stepped to the front, lightly closing the door behind him before manning front. He leaned on the glass counter which displayed and array of articles ranging from pretty jeweled brooches to old daggers and even tin lunchboxes. “Whaddya here for?” he asked, staring down at the stranger hoping he didn’t smell too bad. He’d applied deodorant that morning but gods knew their backroom was a moldy mess they hadn’t cleaned out just yet. Sweat and more were probably really gross. He couldn’t smell anything at the moment but he was used to his own stink. It’d be awkward to sniff himself now. The chance was gone. “Got an order waiting for you?” he continued with ease, pulling out a book to check if they had scheduled any individual pickups today. High heels, somethin' worth a half a ticket on my wrist " Oh, hello there darling," he spoke in a regal-esque tone as he looked up at the taller male. " I would like to pawn this ring," he spoke taking off the band on his finger as he placed it down on the countertop. Looking at the trinkets that were being displayed, it looked rather pleasant, he saw rings, watches, modern ranging to old ancient things. It was a rather nice shop, he approved of it. Maybe after this was done he look around to see if he wanted to buy something else then just pawn off a rather old ring. " I was wondering how much I would be able to get for this? And maybe look around for something that I might be interested in buying after this. If you don't mind." he spoke with a light smile. "Also, I hope I'm not disturbing you from your other obligations." HEATH AMBROISÉ

COLD AS ICE that's how I treated you Heath offered the stranger a polite smile before pulling out a small cabinet and rummaging through it. “Where is that damn thing…?” he muttered before finally grasping the object of his desire. That loupe that had been slipping out of reach was now grasped tightly as he picked up his customer’s ring. “Certainly, I’ll just take a moment to look this over.” He replied, pulling out a few charts for his own reference. Heath took a moment to look closely at the ring before stopping and addressing Fawcett once more. “Feel free to browse, or if not come back some other time. We’re always getting new merchandise.” He explained. “Oh, if you find something you’d like I’d suggest taking it while you still can. Pwned doesn’t offer a layaway service, and we only hold items ‘till close of business.” With that his attention shifted to the ring trying not to get too excited at the sight of the jewels twinkling under the fluorescent lighting. He put the loupe up to his eye after thoroughly scanning over the golden band. Bring the ring closer to his eye he hummed quietly stopping only to reply to the god before him. “Oh it’s no trouble.” The blonde assured, spinning the ring a couple of times and staring into the depths of the tiny jewels in it. He took a moment to look at his references once again before setting the loupe and ring down and rubbing his eyes. “I’ll take the ring for $270. How does that sound?” he asked, grabbing a bit of hand sanitizer and rubbing his hands together distractedly. High heels, somethin' worth a half a ticket on my wrist " Thank you, sir," he smiled at Heath scanning the floor as he started walking around, browsing the items they had on display, he was actually looking for something; an orrery as well as a calligraphy pen set. Fawn looked over and lo and behold, he managed to find one. But right when he found it, Heath called him back. " Oh?" he asked walking back to where he originally was hearing the price his ring was gonna sell for. " Only 270?" he spoke a bit shocked at the price he was going to buy it for. He actually expected a higher price. " I was sure it would have fetched a higher price, but I don't mind, I'll take it," he spoke nodding at the man. " Oh, also, I saw an orrery over there that I would really like to buy thank you. Oh! Do you also have a calligraphy pen set?" he inquired to the man. HEATH AMBROISÉ

COLD AS ICE that's how I treated you He nodded, pushing aside his reference charts. They were a pawn shop, of course he had to start low. Nobody really ever took the starting price anyway. He had a mind not to spend anything more than 400$ anyway. Besides, he doubted an actual jewelry store would give them more. They were cheaper than he was. “I’ll make the transaction right away.” He said with a small nod, picking up the ring and putting it a small, sheer bag before tapping in a few buttons on the register. After a moment or two, the bottom popped open. “Are you ok with hundred or would you prefer fifties?” he asked, pausing to rip out the receipt and set it to the side. “Orrery…?” he echoed. Oh! That weird spinny thing! Yes, he vaguely recalled the owner coming in to pawn it off calling it some strange word. It had to be orrery. It was such an odd word but it sounded incredibly familiar. “Oh right, that thing. I don’t remember the price off the top of my head but I think there’s a tag on the back of it.” He replied with a shrug. He scratched his head trying to remember if he had a calligraphy set. He has a wax seal kit? Hmm. He turned around to check the cabinets behind him. “I think I’ve got one but its missing a couple of nibs. Still got an ink well. Unfortunately we don’t sell ink but I think you can buy that in a grocery store.” A god owned the island’s grocery store so there was bound to be weird shit in it. “’Course the price has been adjusted to compensate for that an’ all.” He added opening a cabinet and pulling out a brown plastic box, the lettering and label were faded from view. He passed his hand over it a couple of times before setting it down on the counter. “By chance will any of these be gift wrapped? Also, will you require any assistance in moving the orrery?” the blonde asked glancing over at the set before looking down at Fawcett. He was practically the same size as it. He highly doubted he could pick it up alone and he also doubted he had anybody coming to help him carry the damn thing out. High heels, somethin' worth a half a ticket on my wrist " Fifties is fine my dear." he spoke taking the recipe and the money when he got a reply from the man that he did, indeed have an orrery, his eyes glew up when the man replied with a yes. He felt like a child on yule, he waited until the man brought out the huge contraception that was as big as him, he...expected something smaller but this would do still, he wasn't complaining. He found an orrery! " Thank you!" he said with a childlike glee in his voice as he also heard the man had a calligraphy set but it didn't have the nibs, it was ok, though, he had nibs at home so he didn't mind it. When the man underestimated his strength, he didn't fight that claim. He was the same size as the orrery as well as he didn't really look physically strong, he actually looked pretty frail so it was actually very understandable. " No, darling, it's fine I got it. I'll find some way to manage, thank you though. How much will this all be?" HEATH AMBROISÉ

COLD AS ICE that's how I treated you He nodded in understanding, pulling to the corresponding bills. He made sure to count before handing over the money and closing the register. The blonde didn’t mind when the young customer called him darling. It felt strange though, the juxtaposition of such a small person versus how they spoke. You would think someone like this would have a few more inches on them. He supposed not everyone could win the genetic lottery. He imagined Fawcett was probably a lot more intimidating on a tall chair. “Your welcome.” He replied checking the paper tag that dangled from the orrery. “Someone priced it at about 60.” He stated, blowing off a bit of dust that ad collected on the poor antique. He narrowed his eyes at the discrepancy, already beginning to guess who had slacked off on cleaning duties. “With the kit as well, it’ll just be 70 euros.” He began taping the numbers into the register once more. He tried not to look surprised when his client declared he would be able to carry it on his own. “The service is free, but if you can handle it.” Heath replied before pulling out a plastic shopping bag and setting the calligraphy kit neatly inside. He didn’t push too much, not wanting to offend the customer. In the end they could always come back later if they needed help. “By any chance, would you tell me a bit about the ring…? I’m curious.” Normally customer came in boasting about their antiques in an attempt to sell it off at a higher price. While it didn’t really help all that much, it was entertaining to listen to. And it gave something to occupy the silence while he finished up transactions. Usually there was at least some sort of background noise, like Carynn making a mess in the backroom or Isabelle tapping on her keyboards. He manned the store alone today, unfortunately. They really needed to invest in a boom box. There was probably the remains of one somewhere around here. A mechanic could probably make it work again… FAWCETT - 345 - he's such a chill kid im sorry MADE BY VEL OF GS + WW [googlefont=Oswald:300]
